Yes, I did. It was boring, jesus! felt like forever till Maiden hit the stage.
Me and two other pissed mates actually jumped down from the seating stalls section into the standing / front section as soon as Maiden opened up with the first track. I was first to hit the floor with a thud and when I looked behind I saw my 'then boss' shouting go! go! like some american soldier. Turns out they were both kicked out seconds later while I enjoyed the show from the front! The next day at work he said "look here, we're gonna get on fine if yoiu don't even mention the words 'Iron Maiden' ok?" - Sorry that's just a golden memory to me.

I was lucky enough to have arrived late the last time they played so I missed Trivium! Result!

You know why Maiden get shit support band. Its so they can look even better. I remeber the tour with Funeral For A Friend. I don't think they will ever learn. Best support i saw with Maiden was anthrax. that was one the best ever gigs for me.

Putting aside the wank support for a moment, I wonder why it is that the UK only gets 1 show, yet other countries get 2?

I refused to go to leeds to watch them the last time they did a tour worth watching, and I'm deffo not going to london to see this one!

Wacken is my only hope, cos after this the next nostalgia tour will be no prayer to present day, which will be shit.

Maiden were leaping around the stage, climbing Marshalls and swinging guitars over their heads.
Anthrax sounded amazingly heavy. Made a big impression.

Aye,luckily I managerd to miss all of thier set as I was in the pub around the corner.I'm trying to remember who supported them when I saw them on the World Slavery tour in Nottingham,and I reckon it might have been Waysted.But it was a long time ago!
