Friday 13th might be unlucky for some but not rock & heavy metal fans in Hull as top local thrashers XIII launch their new EP with a massive gig at Sharkeys. Over the last year or so the band have gone from a band finding their feet to a group good enough to take the next step.
Support for the gig comes from Pastel Jack, another band who in the last 12 months or so have found a new confindence and power in their stage performance... and will certainly keep XIII on their toes tonight.
Opening band are Incubated who are also just about to release a new CD and after having great success in a recent unsigned band contest across in Manchester and being a regular on the local gigging circuit are also good enough to be headliners in their own right.
Sharkeys will be open from 7pm, entrance is free, half price cocktails will be on offer like the usual 9th Circle Rock & Metal night plus after the gig iif you grab a stamp from the band there will be a free shot down at the after party at The Ringside with DJ Shaun 'Crazy' Hudson until 2am.
