internerds help please with website building

Postby angelripper on Thu Mar 15, 2007 9:29 pm

I am not a dumbass, I am perfectly capable of building a website, I just don't have the time to do it. Can anyone recommend a host (don't mind paying for domain I want) that would be ideal for a gig/fest review/photo site? I want to have to do the least amount of work possible...suggestions please...anyone...someone... you there!!

thanks

I have heard that 1&1 are very good( Link)

You can try using a hosting review site like This or This

This very website is hosted on 1&1 Servers, as are all of my websites. I'm on the Business hosting package (Linux) for £8.99 a month. I'd recommend them, had no problems other than a couple of hiccups with email being delayed due to a fault with one of their servers, and a couple of server crashes (no data lost).

For any kind of review website you'd want PHP and MySQL support, therefore you'd want the Business package on 1&1. Though I haven't had a look at the specs recently so the prices may have changed. 1&1 bill you at 6-month intervals. Domains are generally pretty cheap as well.

Hope I've helped a bit :)
