Morbid Visions

I've just been looking through my CD's trying to find something to listen to and I saw my Sepultura's Morbid Visions album. I've not listened to it, literally for about 4 years... I completely forgot how fucking awesome this album is!!!
(I did the same thing with Show no Mercy a few months back)...

Does anyone else get bummed in the ear by this album?

Sepultura were crap until they released Schizophrenia.

Necromancer is awesome on that. I enjoy the album quite a bit, but definatly not my favourite.

morbid visions do have some good moments
but mostly the album is quite repeative monotonous

Schizopherina is one of their best release
it's dark, raw, evil with lots of great riffs and songs!

uh yeah, BTR is the best

I really don't like morbid visions, I don't get why people here like it so much. There is so much better thrash out there, just listen to Beneath The Remains

i remember this was discussed ages ago and james was a big fan of it.
Personally i don't think very much of it, it has a few good tracks but its too much of a mess for me to really enjoy it. I would rather listen to schizophrenia, arise or beneath the remains anyday.

Seriously, Morbid Visions isn't as well thought out as the two following masterpieces, but it's bestial, evil and intense! For ages I thought the lyrics were 'Necromancer...dirrrty fucker....'

Not heard Morbid Visions or Schizophrenia.

Sometimes I get really pissed off at myself. I love BTR, Arise and have a lot of time for Chaos AD (I know not to everyone's taste...) and Nailbomb too. Should really sort my Sepultura life out.
