Megadeth Warchest

Postby Darkweasel on Thu Oct 11, 2007 11:02 pm

Anyone else bothered about buying it? Ordered mine from Amazon today (for considerably less than what HMV are charging). Loads of demo tracks and live versions, plus a dvd of them at Hammersmith in '92. The thing that swung it for me though was the 4th disc which is their show from the Clash Of The Titans in 1990. I went to the NEC show rather than the featured Wembley gig but it was the same set list played in a big arena. It's going to bring back some great memories (Slayer were still better that night though).

I have it but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. I was also at the NEC show, but after Suicidal and Testament I was too knackered to go down the front. :)

War Chest?

I had no idea it was out/coming out/that it had even been planned. I might have to check out seeing as Megadeth are one of the only Thrash bands I still like and have always loved.

This is an example of Dave Mustaine's retardation.

Now that you mentioned about all those "rare" demos, lives and that DVD, I wanna buy it! Unfortunately I can't afford it at the moment, just gotta wait it out.
