Alien does have that advantage in that if it's going down it's got a chance to take people with it. I still think Predator would kick ass though. You're right, he's fine after Arnie punches him in the face, and he's not exactly light-handed. Every time an Alien gets hit, sure they carry on, but they whine like bitches!

That's what you get with people that only rate films that last four hours and have Marlon Brando in them. Sure, they're the best going, but what's wrong with watching a shitty film with lots of death and guns?

I wouldn't have given it one star and it was radically better than AVP and Alien Resurrection. The thing that bugged me most about AVP: R was the blatant references to the franchises' previous films - 'Get to the chopper!' and the Newt-like girl being the most obvious. I'm sure she says something along the lines of 'Are the monsters gone now?' but I was half-cut when I watched it so don't take what I say at face-value.
