Agree with Keith, we would be all in with the feet 100% for this if it gets off the ground... I think it would need to be in either Glasgow or Edinburgh though to be honest as there are a decent load of venues in both cities.
I'm with Keith though, Glasgow would be ideal, you've got some cool venues around here

Heretic are up for playing.....if we can be helped out getting all the way up to Scotland!!
Depending on date, aint no way we can bring any amps up etc etc.
But we're up for it, sounds like a good idea
Got to be promoted right tho....we should be getting the entire metal commuinity of Scotland there, whether theyre primarily fans of thrash or not.

That's what needs to be done for most 'thrash' gigs... if you enjoy any metal, you can enjoy it live, even if you're not a thrash fan!!!- thrash metal maniac

Agreed. Thrash is much easier than death or black metal to get into live if you don't know the songs, and it's still extreme enough to appeal to fans of those genres who'd consider heavy metal 'too wimpy.'

As far as i know the venue being touted for this is "The Exchange" in Edinburgh which i have heard is tiny (smaller than the now defunct Edinburgh Venue which only held about 200-300 folk). Shouldn't be that hard to fill it depending on who they get to play. "The Exchange" shouldn't be confused with "The Corn Exchange" in Edinburgh.

I think it's a terrible idea!
Honestly, about 17 people would actually go.
If you're doing it I'd recommend Glasgow as the west coast has the better scene although it's predominantly a Death Metal scene.
The Soundhaus in Glasgow is probably your best bet because, size wise, it's appropriate for both signed and unsigned bands.

Let 'Em Burn would be well up for this. We'd bring a few folk to boost the numbers too

how about having it on the 13th July.
with Hallowed Point, and Amok playing. I am wanting to get a mini thrash fest in Glasgow. I mentioned it to wiseguys up there about it. SO if you can get enough people to pester them then maybe just maybe get some thing good going up there.
