Re: Crohn's Disease
What's your most in a day, people? I think mine is about 11. If I get pissed, the next day can easily be over five. Recently my pooing has become a lot more irregular. I used to be consistently two a day but now I don't poo some days and do three or more the on others. Anyway, most my poos are better than 'Cyanide'.
Sorry to hear you have Crohn's disease. Not heard of it before but it sounds like a fucker. And not really fair to have something lifelong at such a young age. Still, as others have said, it will just take adjusting and then it won't seem to matter.

I always take a lot of shits. It's because I don't like spending a lot of time on the shitter and so have to visit three or more times to get a particularly big one out of my system.

I'm the same, for a big one I normally do it in two sittings to avoid squeezing my intestines out of my arse. If I've had the deadly combination of a bad kebab and beer on a night out, without fail, I do four shits the next day and the quality varies. The last two are the most painful.

Hahaha, "sittings".
I wonder if I am the only one here who has passed out while straining on the bog...
No joke - I was on the crapper at Uni and I thought I was constipated because I had savage abdominal pains. I was straining to no effect for a good 5 or 10 minutes, and then must have feinted - I woke up with my back leant against the sistern, looking up at the cubical walls spinning around. Glad I didn't fall fowards!
It turned out the pain was not constipation but actually Appendicitis... and I was taken to hospital later that day

Re: Crohn's Disease
I once fell asleep on the toilet when I was a kid.
After having a poo, I literally couldn't be bothered moving, so I just fell asleep in the bathroom.

How do you replenish the blood, assuming normal poo-trip frequency?

I try to be cautious when it comes to straining. I don't want to die like Elvis.

If I remember rightly some medieval king supposedly died while over-straining after a feast of eels. Eels being a metaphor? :S

A quick google search failed to find this image... which is probably for the best as I am eating soon.
