SODOM re-record first album!

It seems that Sodom have done something similar to Destruction and have re-recorded their first album ("In The Sign Of Evil") and have named this one "The Final Sign Of Evil"....should be a good listen!

why didnt they just re record it instead of changing the name and cover? Pleased that theyve done this though tbh, not very kvlt but it'll be good to hear the songs with some good production.

WACK idea. The new artwork/title are rubbish, and I suspect the songs will lose a lot of their charm under a more glossy production. Plus they can play too well these days...

The whole appeal of ITTOE is the chaotic atmosphere, no doubt this will clean it up, trigger the drums and the bit in SV when the band lose time will be gone. :cry:

Isn't this re-writing history? I'd have prefered a CD release of their demos.

This is GAY. Leave it alone for fucks sake, also that is the most homoerotic cover since THAT Manowar one. They should be concentrating on new music instead of trying to rewrite their past. First Destruction with Thrash Anthems and now Sodom...

It will feature an extra seven tracks, so I guess this means Devil's Attack, Live From Hell, Poisoned Blood, Let's Fight In The Darkness Of Hell, Victims Of Death, Satan's Conjuration & one other. I want to hear it, but I want a decent copy of the demos more. And that cover Atom, you are dead right, it's awful.

I really hope it isnt' 'Thrash Anthems' shit, but the cover is very disappointing!!!!

They better keep it raw as fuck and keep the production down to a minimum, because otherwise it will be a pile of toss!

This is a shitty trend on the rise...nothing will beat the original. By the way, there is a Sodom demos LP out there called "The Sins Of Sodom", and believe me, you won't get a good sounding old Sodom demo...they sound fuckin terrible.
