WITCHSORROW - One of England's very best heavy bands, Southerners Witchsorrow know more about good metal than anyone... they take the '80s doom template laid down by Saint Vitus, Witchfinder General and early Cathedral and give it a spicy little Bathory / Mayhem atmosphere. And yeah Rise Above Records signed them recently for their killer self-titled album.

GROAN - Introducing some quality speedy wizard doom! These youngsters write catchy uber-riffy medieval metal and are one of the best UK bands of this type for years. Groan unapologetically take in elements from Sabbath, Rainbow, Saint Vitus and yet still manage to create a distinctive sound. They are led by metal scene warlock Mazzereth, who bringeth the good vibes. "Arise sleeping wizard!"
