The original production on SNM wasn't bad at all.... unless there's something wrong with early 80s metal production?!? It suits the tunes unbelievably well!!!!

Hell Awaits is better though :twisted: hahaha

I reckon it would be perfectly described as satanic speed metal.... years and years before destroyer 666, who just fucked it up a bit really....

I like Hell Awaits quite a bit personally and the same for Show No Mercy! Just truly raw thrash and I like the production on both! Of course Reign In Blood rules too! The first five Slayer albums are all great, after that, not too bothered.

Yes. SNM is a great album. Fast, catchy riffs, melodic solos, Araya mad screams...That makes SNM one of my favourite albums from that band. Like every song from it.

And how exactly did Destroyer 666 fuck up satanic speed metal?! At least Destroyer haven't compromised and wimped out over the years.

Yeh show no mercy is fucking quality, I also love Hell Awaits aswell though, you cant go wrong with tunes like ''KILL AGAIN'' and ''AT DAWN THEY SLEEP''.

Slayer were fucking good. Anyone going "jdgasgd r s is Shows No maercys good?/...wahst a hells await?" are big n00bs faces and come next monday will face a 5 stage exam paper on the subject
