What is yar job? - Or if you're unemployed, was your job. Or if you're still student scum, what job are you looking to get?
I'm a bookseller at Waterstones. I'm pretty happy with it, it can be rewarding in places, but also pretty annoying when you just get fat lowlives all day going "ave ya got dat new loose women book anywhere like".
I was a firework man before that, which was superb, and a guitar shop man before that.

Re: Occupation
I work in a call centre for Sky Broadband. The technical side of the job can be interesting but dealing with Joe Public is annoying as fuck:
- Do I need to have my router switched on to get wireless?!
- Yes...
- But surely the phone line counts as a wire?
- No, it doesn't.
- But...
- But nothing!
I'm only really in the job for experience. I got my degree about a year ago and plan to get a proper job at some point. However, I'm ultra lazy and there's little, if any, demand for Social Science degrees at the moment (but I learned how to speak Estonian and Russian). Most people thought I'd go back to Uni but, appealing as 120 units of Strongbow a week is, I can't be arsed with it again.
I applied for a Waterstone's that opened before I got my job with Sky, circa October. I get alright money at Sky - including free Sky - but I'd take less money for a better shift, like. I'm working 3-11, Monday to Friday which, in terms of hours, is fine but I'd take a 9-5 in an office any day. I'm losing my patience with dullards I have to deal with at work too; stuck-up twats who are too fucking dense to use a PC.
