The words 'God' and 'Alien' made me lose interest immediately.

Interesting but completely wrong. Everybody knows that God wore the No.9 shirt for Liverpool.

It's something that given the nature of at least our human race is very possible. Imagine America lands on a planet one day inhabitad by fairly primitive human types, they'd be teaching them about Democracy and the internetz in no time.

Alien UFO's have never landed on Earth
Aliens didn't plant the earth with life.
God doesn't exist.
Ghosts aren't real.
Conspiracy Theories are wrong.
All cryptozoology animals don't exist.

I'm sure I could read that article and point out numerous logical fallacies, assertions, and show with evidence that this is complete bunk. It's not even worth the time, except a paragraph or two to show that it can easily be done.

Now, we constantly make the mistake of assuming that life must exist, develop and flourish in conditions exactly like ours. Yet on this planet of ours, we have anaerobic bacteria: these live in environments that possess no oxygen. Germs have also been found in the lethal water that surrounds a nuclear reactor. Experiments that recreated the conditions of Jupiter were also seen to have supported life. Some bacteria live in volcanoes, some eat stones and some produce iron. The point being made here is that life can exist in any condition. An alien civilization out there might consider their conditions to be the ideal one for sustaining life.

Actually a good passage, but it's exactly what science says. Perhaps wanting to believe more than it, but at least they say might. The problem with this paragraph is that they assume if there is life, it has to be intelligent, which isn't correct. Life existing, and life evolving into intelligent life are completely different and is much more improbable. They just imply far too much in this paragraph.

Jules Verna described a trip around the world in 80 days. Nowadays, it takes 90 minutes for an astronaut to do that. In those days, his ideas were considered to be pure science fiction. Yet, not only have we proven that false, we've outdone it. Ideas of today may be scoffed, yet some of them do eventually become a reality. This is one of the unfortunate tendencies we seem to maintain in all times. Sooner or later, man will have conquered space, and we will have conquered Mars, then the Solar System, and perhaps distant stars.

Sooner or later man will have conquer space? Are you kidding me? These guys have no idea how much space is in space. The diameter of our solar system is 100,000 light years (http://seds.org/messier/more/mw.html). Do they know nothing about physics and the theory of relativity?

A- Piri Reis Maps found in Topkapi Palace. This was found in the possession of a Turkish Navy Admiral. It was a map of the world, showing even North and South America and even Antarctica if the ice caps were to be removed. However, the map was seemingly distorted. A startling discovery showed that projecting the map onto a sphere would produce an exact view of how the world would appear if it were seen from a certain distance in space. How did our ancestors get a hold of this?

From what I quickly read on it, it wasn't an exact map, but just a highly detailed and much more complex than anything at it's time. The site claims that since it's so great, it couldn't have been man that made it. Ever heard of the logical fallacy Argument From Personal Incredulity? http://www.prep.mcneese.edu/engr/engr32 ... /afet7.htm

There is two paragraphs, and the more I read about it the more I laughed. It's filled with Logical fallacies and assertions.

I am hungry so I haven't read anything else you wrote besides the list. The one I've quoted is the only thing I don't agree with. There are plenty of conspiracy theories and a few of them are probably right - some about Katrina I have specifically in mind. However, I think that there are enough fucked up things we know about than wasting our time with shit we are kept in the dark about. It doesn't matter whether the US administration were involved directly in 9/11. There are much bigger issues than solving puzzles that no one will accept anyway.

Not disagreeing with you generally because, skimming what you wrote, it looks like you are talking sense. I just wanted to get this out.

I'm off for food. I'll read the article and all else later...

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"
