I played quite a lot of Crash Team Racing on the PS1 - it's still one of my favourite console games, I think I was reasonably good at it.

Yeah, awesome game, spent way too many hours on it though, did you ever manage to 100% complete it??

I fucking loved that game! I never got 100%, I remembered getting madly frustrated at some of the harder tasks, whatever they were, probably time trials or something, they were always the cunts of Crash Bandicoot. Fucking time trials.

Diddy Kong racing shits on Crash Team Racing.

Mario Kart shits on them both.

Yes I did 100% complete it I believe. I also completed Crash Nitro Cart (which is a relatively shit game!) about 99% - for some reason it didnt give me the last gem thing of the last boss, even though I succeeded.

I also enjoyed the multiplayer battles a lot! There's nothing better than getting someone with a bomb longshot. Real men played those levels without homing missiles as well.

By the way, I've never understood how people can say Mario Kart is so much better - I don't dispute that it probably came first, and CTR is a bit of a copy game, but I have played Mario Kart a few times and I really didn't like it that much, certainly not as much as CTR.

P.S. If anyone has imminent plans for a UK Thrash CTR bonanza (as if you wouldn't), count me in - I'll be rusty, but it's easy to pick up again.
