The beauty of the forum is that all the chat is preserved, now unless we are getting tight for server space which I very much doubt, I can't see why there is the need for the Shoutbox. Sometimes if I've not been on here for a few days, it is good to look back on what has been said and to catch up on the banter, if this has occurred in the Shoutbox it will have been lost forever. If you want chat go on MSN. I seriously think this will spoil the whole dynamic of UK Thrash.

I voted that the now listening thread should be locked. It's just a post count frenzy! The only times I've ever posted there myself is to take the piss and say I'm listening to a band who don't even exist.

The shoutbox is pretty cool I reckon, but even though I voted that it should stay, I think maybe using MSN would make more sense.

That's my 2 pennies!
