LONDON

The HMV on Oxford Street actually has some very nice jewels, hehe.
Ive picked up Witchfynde, Goat Semen, Bitchs Sin, Jaguar, Chateux and numerous other really unlikely NWOBHM there.

Ressurection Records in Camden is quite useless. Basically an offering which says "the CDs you own and the CDs you dont want to own". The vinyl section is all re-prints.

Central London's Soho has the most vinyl/CD shops in London....pretty much every single one on Berwick Street.
Sister Ray is alright, but mostly rerelreases and mostly very expensive.
Can't remember the rest of them, but theres about 3-4 decent shop on that street, so just go strive round there and youll probably find something for a decent price. Last thing I picked up was Manowar's Into Glory Ride.
Goto Vinyl Junkies if youre into reggae.

Probably the shop where youll find the coolest stuff after endless searching is that place in Notting Hill where Atom works/used to work in. I forgot the name, but Ive picked up Holocaust, Black Widow and Macabre Omen Inchs from there.

BRIGHTON
Wax Factor is defiantely the place to go here. Especially for idiots like me who actually will go through their ridiculous amounts of 7" in some box under the counter. Anyhow, the place to search here is the reduced price section. I once asked if theyd ever had wichfinder general LPs in there and they said "yes, went straight to the bargain bin"

There's another handy shop when you take the next right down the road. They only have a small box of metal releases but Ive picked up stuff like Venom's Nachtmusik Gatefold from there.

If you truly have 3 hours on your hands, visit Snooper's Paradise. Youll get lost in the shop and have Thousands of Vinyls to go through. My hunts there have resulted to some great booty, including some rare 7" from Praying Mantis, Marseille etc. Its basically just a random bin of Vinyls for a few quid...but if youre obsessive as me, youll probably enjoy it.

Hämeenlinna
Poppa Joe is truly the place to go in this town.
I also recommend not leaving the shop during your stay in this desolate town. Although finds stretch from WASP to Witchburner.

Which one was that, the biggest one? I went into the biggest HMV there and got a few cool things, they also had The Ocean in there which i was pleased with.

I know its not a record shop, but have you been in Metal Millitia on that street? I loved that shop.

Well the one basically opposite to Oxford Street station.

Metal Milita has gone majorly downhill...I think its been bankrupt on OxfordStreet like 4 times in the past few years.

Our HMV have just halved the metal section. Lucky I don't buy CDs, really.

You should see the HMV in St.Helens, bloody hell. Theres nothing of it. They halfed it a few times now. Its like all the bands you used to find over the front cover of Kerrang thats there now. And in the middle of all that once was Fuled by Fire, so that was alright.

I got a Zavvi voucher card for my birthday, the person who sent it didn't even put how much money it's got on it.

It's gonna be a lottery when I go in there. Mental.

Ask them?
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

What?! I can't ask them! Once you've got a present, you can't ask anything about it, for fear of them thinking you're taking the piss...

In da south man, we ask all the questions.

I don't see the point of those voucher cards at all!!! Why would anyone keep one once it's run out? What possible reason would there be for them to top it up??

I had £6 left on one of those Zavvi cards, so I bought a the £30 US Office Season 2 DVD box, with 10% student discount, for £21 - really chuffed with that.

Then I imagine I chucked the card away.
