I meant to post this here last night but got sidetracked, but yesterday was the 25th anniversary of METALLICAs live debut. They played Radio City in Anahiem on 14/3/82. It was a disasterous start because Dave broke a string a min and a half into the first song (hit the lights) and just stopped, the rest of the band followed suit!!! Wonder how many were there????

Fucking hell, it seems so long ago for me, I'm only just 20! But really its not that long ago, thrash metal is quite a new genre really. I wish I was at that show, I wonder if you could have seen the potential in them or they were just shit?

I had a bootleg of this show. Got it off Soulseek. It was some early demos with crowd noise dubbed on. I doubt there was enough people watching to make a crowd noise!
