Hoarding

I have been off work this week, and have sorted all my shit in my house. I had boxes of records, tapes and Cds everywhere, Hundreds of car and metal mags, and videos in just about every cupboard i have!!!! :doh:

Nearly finished now after days of sorting it, and im amazed at just how much stuff i actually own :eyes:

I have 1200 LPs, 2200 7", 1500 Cds and 600 cassettes :shock:

My collection of metal zines is now all sorted and i have 350 zines, which is shadowed by the 800 metal mags i own (nearly every kerrang from 1-600, and almost every metal forces, and most terrorizers - up to 120)
I have just over 300 videos, mostly comedy ones, and i dont know if that shocks me more than the fact i actually have 2 george and mildred vids?????

I did actually only think i had just the 1 :oops:

is it obvious i live alone :lol:

Anyone else hoard stuff???

My mate used to have around 3000 video tapes, his entire back wall was pretty much tapes. He got rid of most of them when he moved, problem is he is getting that bad with dvd's now.

Theres a breakcore guy called DJ 100000000, who apparently chose the name after losing 100 million records in a house fire, Probablly best to take it with a bucket of salt.

bollocks to you sir. he has a storage space filled with them, apparantly he acquired them from a record shop which closed down. i even remember the shop, it closed like 8 years ago, but still had records in until 3 years or so ago

Well fine, that's quite different to "hoarding" though, inheriting the stock of a shop is hardly the same as stockpiling a personal collection over many years :roll:
