Death. I said it earlier but just once more. Death. Chuck RIP

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

Well, yeah i think i remember them saying something about he was prepared to let the fans down, so they came to europe without him, which is pretty much the truth, and like many people who are blessed with genius, he was a cunt to work with apparently, hence the fact that so many musicians didnt stay with him for long. I never knew the man, so cannot rightly say, but i used to read a lot of zines etc, and he was a total egomaniac by a lot of accounts

Skid Row with Seb Bach were amazing at Donington 95. :rockdevil:

I would have loved to have seen L7 and Nirvana.

Not thrash, I know, but they are about the only bands that I missed my chance to see. Them and Carcass.

The only time i saw Carcass was in Derby when they played with a band called Cubanate, who were 2 geezeers playing thrashy noisy stuff along to an electro backing track  Carcass weren't as good as i had expected, although this was later in their career and musically past their best.

I saw Carcass twice - once with Napalm Death in England and once after I'd moved to the U.S. - they were excellent both times.
And Skid Row with Bach were surprisingly heavy live - their first British tour (maybe late '89/early'90) was brilliant. He is (or at least, was) a great front man. As was, to be honest, the first time I saw Bon Jovi live. They were the nearest thing I'd ever seen to Roth-era Van Halen. But that was when they'd first started out.

I actually like the first 2 skid row records, and they were a pretty good live band as well, i saw them a few times in the 80s (best was at nottingham concert hall with LA GUNS :wank: ) Seb was a bit of a nutter onstage. Did anyone else here other than me see Seb at Bloodstock the year before last?? He played nearly all skid row tracks, but he had heavied them up a lot, and even did an onstage jam with members of Children Of Bodom and others. Was a bloody good spectacle i can tell you!!! :D
