It's a bit of a shame that Brand has felt it necessary to resign after finally doing something that was almost funny, too. In a way, I hope that JR gets sacked and goes to ITV so he can say what the fuck he wants because ITV is the channel of the gutter and no one would complain about anything said during an ITV program.

I often wonder if anyone complained back when he cracked that joke about heather mills way back when it was announced that her and macca were getting married. He was hosting the british comedy awards and he said, "i see paul mccartney has gone down on one knee this week....................and why not, shes a very attractive woman" The place went quiet for a second or two before the laughter broke out. Funny as fuck i thought!!!!

all i think is if this is such a big deal then all comedians who ever did an impression of or insulted the queen in their routine
should be beheaded.
it sounds ridiculous but then so is this whole thing.i cant believe its been main news for 2weeks when therers more important stuff to sort.
its just usual government/media tactics:"lets take peoples minds off the credit crunch and teenage stabbing stories and all the other important major issues".
i bet newsround is roughly 15mins brand/ross then 5 mins credit crunch then 2mins iraq then the weather.

i dont blame ross/brand,i blame the papers and news broadcasters and all the do-gooder complaining pricks for making this into what it currently is.
