You now have to do it through game spy arcade, not sure how to do it yet, but you can also join with host computers ip address again i do not know how to do this. I am a bit of a noob with this as well.

Yeah I reckon IP connection will be the best method. There tend to be nightmares getting past each others firewalls though.

yeah i know, but to be fair i have had that email since forever. Far too lazy to have a new one. I only use for msn these days anyway.

It's taken me a while to post on this thread but I've had my laptop to rebuild. I'd definitely be up for am UK Thrash AoE battle, my MSN is craig@cwatson.org.

The ports that need to be opened are:

2300-2400 (both TCP and UDP)
47264 (TCP only)

If everybody sets their routers up to allow both incoming traffic on those ports, the person with the fastest PC and fastest connection can host the game and everybody else can connect to it.

Me & James have been thinking that teams of 2 would be a cool idea, the maximum I think we can play with is 4 teams, otherwise the game would be slow as hell.
