You're on the wrong board for putting down the office. We could practically recite the entire 14 episodes between us.
"I don't give shitty jobs. If a good man comes to me and says, "Thank you, David, for the opportunity and continued support in the work-related arena, but I've done that, I wanna better myself, I wanna move on", then I can make that dream come true too, aka, for you.
The point is, you talk the talk, but you do not walk the walk, vis a vis you have not passed your fork-lift drivers test. the man who gives the jobs in the warehouse is a personal friend of mine, alright? I know you're the man for the job.
Sammy, you old slag...
...How's Elaine? She left you yet? Yeah...alright, see you then...
...she has left him, I forgot about that."

Brents character is so influenced by Partridge though. PARTRIDGE FTW

Alan Partridge. Probably the best character ever created. I wish with all my heart that he was real and that I knew him.
I'm leaving you, you cow!

Alan Partridge, unbelievable.
Fawlty Towers, amazing. Probably my favourite sitcom of the classic era. Actually definitely my favourite sitcom of the classic era.
I'm starting to get into Only Fools & Horses finally too. What a shame I never used to watch it as a youngster, at least now I've discovered how good it really is.
I've never seen too much Blackadder or Red Dwarf. What I have seen of Blackadder has made me laugh very much. What I've seen of Red Dwarf hasn't as much. But maybe I've just seen the wrong episodes.
Armando Iannucci is definitely God. Chris Morris is Jesus.
But still The Office does and always will reign supreme for me. I love it more than my mother.

Red Dwarf has never made me laugh as much as Blackadder, it's just not as funny. Not to take away from it, it's just a different type of comedy program. I still love it.

I find Ray Mears unintentionally funny. When I first saw one of his programmes I thought it was a spoof.

Red Dwarf has a lot of story to it. You can't just watch random episodes, you have to start from the beginning.

agreed.
basically i hate to agree with him, but i pretty much agree with... everything stu has said in this thread so far. it saddens me to say this very much, i hate him with passion. all i will say is that if it weren't for me he wouldn't know what Jam and The Armandi iinaauccia shows are.
also The Thick Of It, is quickly becoming one of my best things ever.
