Is he, in your opinion, a good vocalist?

I think I may be on my own with my opinion that his falsetto is weak and hilarious and his mid range is nothing to write home about...

I agree with Stu. The music is amazing, but his vocals are silly and weak (and hilarious). There is no power in them at all, and this kind of metal is all about the power, I don't care what anyone (Jamie) says. That's what fucking heavy metal is! I have no time for vocalists who like to show off with their wonderful range but have no wallop. If you can't pound my face in with your power than I don't want to listen to you.

Yeah, the songs are very good indeed, don't get me wrong, it's just his voice. It's not very good.

And generally heavy metal is hilarious anyway, so hilarity is rarely a bad thing.

Maybe he doesn't hit a falsetto like some people, but it's got a unique sound to it, which makes it great. Also, his sense of vocals to the melody is absolutely untouchable. The way he can make a vocal melody stick in your head for week is just fantastic.
