Day 1 : Holy Drum Skins Batman!

Ahoy all!

Today was our first day at the Studio recording the drums for the new EP. We had booked 2 days in the studio to record 6 tracks but that wasn't to be the case...

We recorded all 6 tracks and another one for good measure in one day, so 7 new un's are in the bag drums wise and so we move onto the bass after the drum tracking/checks have all been done! Andy had to run out at one point and get a new bass drum skin as his had exploded from the sheer thrash goodness pedalling the skins arse for 3 tracks, luckily it survived the next 4 tracks of thrash rape.

All in all it's been a great day in Seregon land, we have just confirmed another EU Festival in Europe and will be sharing the stage with bands we look upto as heroes and are gobsmacked to of been asked to play. This takes Seregon up to 3 Major Festivals this year, the first being Norways Inferno Festival back in April, the second will be Romania's Rock City Fest in August and the third will be the following weekend at the **** ** **** Festival in ******** sharing the stage with the mighty *********!!! Will fill in the blanks in the coming days etc. when we are allowed to announce it, but yeah. Fucking awesome.

Will be updating this thread as we go along the next couple of weeks, will get pictures and video etc. up, this is something to get you started.

My sleuthing skillz lead me to believe they are playing Ilha Do Ermal Festival in Portugal or Elsrock in Holland.

You are right Mazz indeed, yeah we're not sure if we will put all 7 out on the CD, maybe keep it as the original 6 and the other song a free download or something?

We'll work it out in the coming weeks!

Day 2/3 : Drum Tracking/Checks etc.

Helloooooo, so yesterday we started going through all the drums we recorded on Monday to check everything is all ok etc. and get them ready for the bass parts to be recorded at the end of the week we hope!

Today is much of the same, going through the drums etc. so yeah not much to report other then that progress is continuously being made!

Day 6 : Drum Tracking Done, onto Bass!

All 7 songs drums wise are done and dusted and now the bass is being laid down as we speak!

I'm popping down after the England game to see how it is all going, last update I had about an hour ago that 3/7 tracks bass wise have been laid down today already! Fingers crossed that if all the bass is done today then we start guitars on Monday and Vox on Wednesday!

Day 7 : Bass Done, onto Guitar!

Ahoy all, right guitars are well and truly rolling!

3/7 songs done today and so hopefully 2moro we will get taht done and move onto vox and then mixing. Want all of it done A.S.A.P, as the sooner it's done, the sooner we get some tracks up online! Below is a little taster of the opening track!

Day 10 : WE ARE DONE!



Yes, the CD, 7 tracks has been recorded in full and the mixing begins next Tuesday!

Yesterday we recorded the last of the gutiar and 3 songs with Vocals. Today we did 4 songs in 4 hours vocals wise and now I am currently listening to the unmixed version of the CD, really really happy with how it all has gone and sure it will be a pleasing CD to all to listen to *fingers crossed*.

So yeah, give us 2 weeks and clips will be up online etc. and we can start to sort out all the other crap that goes along with getting an EP out, shopping, shipping and promoting!
