Mmmm AoE 2 is a LAN favourite here in our house
Mainly an FPS man myself, Unreal Tournament being my favourite (used to be regional WCG champion many a year ago). Haven't had the time recently for gaming though, but really want to start playing Elderscrolls 4 after exams are over.

I used to play games like Black and White and years and years back when I first got a PC I'd play a game called Total Annihilation, which I adored.
I used to love Total Anihilation as well

Like James, I'm an AoE II fan. I mainly play it in LAN battles with James but sometimes against the computer as well.
I'm also into the stragegic FPS games like CounterStrike: Condition Zero and Half Life. CZ is my favourite game at the moment. We have "CZ time" from 3.30 to 4.30 at work most days when a few students at the school where I work plus me and my boss just sit and play LAN games of CZ and HL. Class!

Right, me and Craig are playing a 2 vs 2 grudge match tonight, against my brother and his friend.
They beat us last time, in a shock victory for the first time ever! Needless to say, I really want to win!
Haha, I find it hilarious that this is how I am spending my Friday night. But it is EXTREMELY important.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

I hate AOE III, one of my biggest gaming disappointments.
To report on our battle, it was nothing short of a SLAUGHTER. My early attack worked perfectly to totally rape the player I was more worried about, which gutted his base and sent the dregs of his villagers fleeing to his ally's town.
We then proceeded to get some heavy duty units on the go, and rampage into the second ally's base, finishing off the stragglers from the first attack in the process.
We recorded it as well. It was one of the best things ever.
