I seem to remember issues with the name megadeth back in the 80s, as a band formed calling themselves megadeath and toured in california under this name. I have just happened across a feature in one of my old zines about it. it seems that the band called megadeath actually took megadeth to court claiming that they formed first and were trying to get mustaine to change his bands name. Mustaine counter sued as he claimed that megadeath played a gig advertised with the a missing from their name to dupe fans. the band called megadeath arent listed on metal archives, so dont know owt about em, but obviosly they never won the case!!
im gonna form a band called gamma bomb now :eyes:
