I wouldn't call that a bargain for getting nothing but some computerised data! Having the proper album art with photos, notes, lyrics etc. is a big part of why I buy CDs!

yeah i agree totally but if you look at the prices on ebay/amazon youll be gobsmacked.
i try my best to buy the real thing.but in this case its gonna cost half my wages for 2 cds

im sure a percent of the download will go to the band whereas the silly money paid to ebay/amazon sellers will only benefit themselves.
i was just offering an alternative.
or you could just download from youtube to realplayer and them burn from realplayer to cd.all for free

ive only done that a few times for ultra rarities.

Yeah I know what you're saying Rik, I just think it's a bit rich for Amazon to charge the same price that most CDs cost (including all the packaging and production) when all you're getting is some MP3 files.

Can't believe I forgot this, which is maybe THE overlooked gem of speed metal.

Re: Speeeeeeeed Metal!
Bloostlust- Guilty As Sin is a pretty good speed/power album from 85, I have an LP rip so I'm guesssing it might be quite hard to find?
I remember french band ADX were a bit speed metal
Predator - Easy Prey is a pretty typical speed/power style album, quite listenable (would probably appeal to fans of Blessed Death a bit) but the artwork is fucking terrible!
Hallow's Eve - Tales of Terror is a NECCESSARY album to hear! Very fucking good power/thrash style, I class it as speed metal, definately has that sound, another one from 85!
Not sure if KUBLAI KHAN would be classed as speed metal? I think they have that quite defining sound that I know as speed metal, it's quite cool, nothing mindblowing but they have one album - Annihilation, I like it!
Also - S.A. Slayer are pretty damn good, very old-school metal stylings but a bit speedier

The Abattoir album turned up, it's enjoyable stuff, definitely for fans of Motorhead - I'd say it gets better towards the end, but I need to give it some more plays. Quite a banger!
