the thing with the reviews is because people chose which one to do (ie because they liked the band). next issue it will be organised so people get given something to review.

We're planning to start work on issue 2 pretty soon. We'll post an announcement when we're looking for contributors.

Yeah, I definitely think the reviews need to be juggled about a bit and less biased. I'm not saying the reviews were poorly written, but they were definitely too kind and some weren't very critical.

Good effort with the zine, If you want any covers doing for future issues then give me a shout i would love to help in some small way. I can draw and i am not too bad at it either. Once i am back home i will post a link to some of my pics.

can't you just get it forwarded to your current address? won't cost you anything

What a beautiful image you paint Billy! The decision to make it this short was kind of mine, I felt it was important not to overstretch ourselves first time and that getting a zine out there to show we could do it was better than toiling away for six months. Rest assured the next issue will be longer and better. May I suggest you eat a packet of Ex-lax and try the poo test again?

I don't care about the 8/10 thing, I stand by my reviews. Nebukadnezza and HOD are two very different styled bands but are comparable in terms of quality. Given the word entitlement, I think I accurately represented the music and wrote honest reviews. I don't want to shit on any bands so I'll try to avoid reviewing certain things.

I can't speak for anything else. I haven't seen the zine, though I would love to. What should I do? (And I know this has already been said but...I'm shit).
