Re: top 100
Got to Godsmack at 24th and decided I couldn't accept viewing this horrendous nonsense any further.
I really struggle to understand the established order. Why would 'Heaven and Hell' (5) come above Paranoid (10) or 'Black Sabbath' (13) in the Greatest Heavy Metal albums? The collection does not really seem to have any logic and clearly doesn't represent a public poll (by 24th no Metallica, Led Zeppelin or Motorhead? Not possible).
Well, that's NME for you...

Deaths Human only at 79...
These cant be in order. Its like somebody has picked metal albums at random and shoved them on there.

Nice journalism there from NME. 100 pictures of random "metal" albums, fantastic.

Scum. Sub-human scum.
Basically though it's not even worth getting annoyed by any lists like this, whatever the topic - it's clearly piss easy journalism thrown together by people who have extra pages/air-time to fill.

Re: top 100
Yeah that was a shitty list.
The only Sepultura album they had in there was Chaos AD.
I feel like I want to write a big rant about how shit that list was but I'm very tired...
If you don't want to bother looking through it, then here's what you're dealing with:
"Fact: Vocalist Maynard James Keenan appeared on stage with Tori Amos in 2997, accompanying her on the song 'Muhammed My Friend'."

4 - Burning Bridges (Arch Enemy)
5 - Heaven And Hell (Black Sabbath)
Now I've seen everything, the inventors of metal getting trumped by a load of melodic wank.

Ah, hahaha, well done Harold. Well, obviously Back In Black was number 1, not number 100!

and yeah,I don't think Arch Enemy should even be on that list! yes it's metal, but no it's not good... no where near the best
