Saw the TF movie tonight, it was so so. Some parts were good, some parts just seemed like wasted opportunities. And they defiantly should have stuck with the generation 1 designs.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

if you really think about it and imagine the generation one designs in a modern setting it would look awful! one thing all that have see TF must admit is that the CG on the transformers is phenomenal! how long before we have real visuals in CG....?? anyways i bought an awresome G" starscream deluxe model today and i rock!

Why would it look awful? Everyone one of the cars would have been better, i was nearly sick when Bumble Bee changed to the new Camero.
Starscream would have actually been a good plane rather than that pos Raptor and Megatron would look good rather than looking like a pile of barbed wire throw up.

Transformers was fucking amazing. I was crying i was so happy with Optimus turned up.
The CG is the best I've ever seen and the film is surprsingly very funny in some parts.

I haven't seen Transformers yet, but I looked at the soundtrack CD and was horrified to see Taking Back Sunday, Disturbed and tonnes of other stinking shit on there! 
Me and some mates said it would be far better if they put the likes of Bomber by Motorhead and only Motorhead songs, far more suitable, or maybe some thrash tunes!

You might be glad to know the only song they use on the actual film is the Linkin Park one, I heard it playing at least twice

Yes, that was bloody terrible. I watched this film this noon and I couldn't believe my eyes and my ears. It was like watching Team America, but in real life. The most horrible cliched typically Hollywood film I've seen in a long long time! I was at least hoping for a good fun action film with big robot battles, but there were about two action scenes and just horrible American rubbish for the rest of the film. Absolutely bloody awful. And the music was absolutely horrible. It really was exactly like the Team America score, just adding to the whole cliched horrible-ness of the whole thing. And as Jamie said after the film, it was basically an advert for ebay.
Really really fucking shit. I'm glad I'm not a proper Transformers fan, I would've been even more upset about that.
