On the evidence of last night, I am now looking forward to the Enforcer album even more than I was already!

I'm waiting for Dr Living Dead's mini-album to come through, it's on sale now on their myspace page.

(some of these already out from this month, but good 2008 releases nonetheless)
Paradox - Electrify
Benedictum - Seasons of Tragedy (got it, sounds great)
Alestorm - Captain Morgan's Revenge (pirate metal, yarrrr!!)
Warbringer - War Without End
Death Angel - Killing Season
Rage - Carved in Stone
Draconian - Turning Season Within
Meshuggah - ObZen
Gama Bomb - Citizen Brain
Imagika - Feast for the Hated
Testament - The Formation of Damnation
Iced Earth - Revelation Abomination (the first part was pretty poor, but at least this time they have Barlow back, so it might be a bit better)
Judas Priest - Nostrodamus
Metallica
Blind Guardian
Stratovarius
2008's looking good to me so far
I -would- have been looking forward to Atrocity Exhibition B from Exodus, if the first one hadn't sucked so bad.
Yeah, I totally agree. That song was awesome, but most of the rest sounded a bit too much like modern Anthrax-esque semi-rock for me.

Warning: I give as good as I get and see no reason to be sorry for that. If you act like a moron I'll treat you like one.
Oh and fuck UltraBoris of Encyclopedia Metallum. Worst reviewer ever.

I didn't realise they had an album coming out, that's amazingly great news!
Also, Porcupine Tree are releasing a 'mini album' in February called Nil Recurring. It secretly came out as a limited edition thingy a couple of months ago but because everyone wants it they're releasing it properly this year. Judging by the clips I heard it sounds quite brilliant and better than Fear Of A Blank Planet. Hopefully it'll be the album I wanted that one to be.
