Now, now ladies. Play nice.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Err.. I have an old t'Heretic demo that would seem to suggest otherwise. (And yes, I'm fully aware you weren't in t'band at that point but still....as a friend...just as a friend)
I remember a Nirvana tune, 'I Hate Myself and I Want to Die.' As much as I like Kurt Cobain. I can't have people like that coming over here, on smack, fucking saying that they hate themselves and they wanna die. That's fucking rubbish. Kids don't need to be hearing that non-sense.

I liked the last couple of songs that Heretic did (those are the only two I have heard). I think a lot of you must be basing your opinions on the band's music off the back of Martin being such a bawbag on here

So really, that has nothing to do with Martin whatsoever...
But yeah, Saltergate is genuinely better than anything Lich King.

Don't you mean 'shoite'?
I actually quite liked that Heretic song that sounded ever-so-slightly like Jaws.

Ha ha, Iain, that's exaclty what I based the opening of "Killing Time" on when I wrote it, I thought I'd just speed up the Jaws intro.

But what if it just sounds the same as BBB? :S

Well if they plonk themselves in a studio for a few months trying to make something and they end up sounding like BBB then they've all fucked up (band, studio, label). I don't believe any band sets out to sound like a contemporary band. They want to create something new that represents them.
Then again if they sound like BBB sell a few albums, get a few years of touring, beer and good stories what the fuck do I care, good on 'em.

It came off pretty well (oo-er). Fair enough you can tell you ripped off Jaws, but if you're going to rip off something it might as well be Jaws. This is true to such an extent that I would actually encourage people to eschew originality in favour of Jaws-themed ripp offs. When applied to Thrash it would be a nice change to all this zombie nonsense.
