too much effort for me, id rather drink 17 cans than drink a few really quickly, but then i dont drink for enjoyment, i drink strongbow, tennents, miller and cheap wine, so i can stay drunk for prolonged periods of time, sobriety fucking sucks, being drunk is amazing!!

Bill - it's hardly a beer "festival", it's just that the pub at the top of my road is holding it's own 2 day 'festival', with 13 guest ales.

It's the White Horse on Chipping Hill btw, 2 minutes from Witham station.

Oh right, lol. I thought it might have been the Braintree beer festival and i had missed the announcement. I have work the day after so i may have to give it a miss, though i might jump the train and come for a couple.

Sounds like a laugh, especially if we manage to get some sort of battle in beforehand.

Also this Saturday is the annual Medieval Fair in Witham, held in the churchyard up the hill from me.

It may sound cool, but it is basically the same every year - various morris dancers in the street, stalls selling things like old books, raffle tickets, candyfloss, local-made honey (etc. etc.), and games like throwing blocks at old pottery, raffle, etc. etc. There's also a dude wandering around in a suit of armour.

I can't really be arsed to go, but if my siblings are wandering up there I might go along to get a burger or something.

Sounds like a plan. A Medieval Fair, lol. I can't imagine it can be much worse than the Braintree carnival. If we all do the game in the am i can make my way up around 1/2pm something like that.

Ah crap, keep forgetting that I have rough plans to work this weekend due to the pay-and-a-half. We'll see. Might be able to get out pretty early anyway.

Come Friday night I might just say fuck it anyway, and have the weekend off.

aye, i generally only drink to get wasted. I used to do it for enjoyment and drink ales such as hobgoblin, spitfire and bishops finger but now its cans of miller all the way. I think these beer bongs can be a laugh but from what ive seen of them you get cunts with big egos who think they are pro drinkers and try and take like 3 cans and ultimatly end up spilling it all over the place. Such a waste of lager and they look like tits. If you want to drink fast put on AC DC and turn it up loud!!!
