I am with Metal Ian with this one, it just doesn't really suit thrash.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

miserable bunch o'fuckers!!!!
I thought it was okay. The double bass was good, and not overpowering at all, the quieter section was also okay, i never particualarly had a problem with the tapping! The mix sounded adequate and i could hear everything, it wasnt muddy, and nothing was especially drowned out. A good, adequate if unmemorable modern thrash track.

I thought the double bass pedals were ok, maybe a bit too imposing at times but not that bad. Generally though, I thought the track wasn't that memorable and the riffs were quite boring. The quiet middle section was quite cool and had some nice ideas - I actually liked it when the tapping came in, it gave it a bit of a different twist. The middle section as a whole was definitely the better part of the song. Overall, not too bad, but to be honest I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it again. It just didn't really leave any impact on me at all.

I like. I actually like the drumming, but I can see where Iain's coming from about the live sound. Gotta be hard to get right. Nothing too stand out in terms of memorability, but I think it's a good listen. I'd like to have a few beers and run around to this live.

I enjoyed the new track a lot. I think the mix is unkind to it but the track itself was very heavy and savage. I wasn't keen on the quiet bit at first but it's a great precursor to the bit that follows.
I don't think it sounded very 'thrash' but thats not a bad thing.

The tapping bit and the double kick sounded cool as fuck.
I think maybe there could be more, or just more interesting riffs but apart from that..

Is this the song you opened with at reanimator the other week? I think that because of the slow bit and the bass interlude its not the best song to open with, it kind of loses the momentum when the openeing song should really be kicking everyones ass at 100 mph. On the point about the double bass drumming being hard to replicate live, i was watching out for that because id heard the uber tight double bass on engine of war and i have to say he did pull it off totally live.
so there.

yeah i do like it, the only thing id say letting it down is its a bit generic for my liking, the drummer is obviously outstanding at double bass but sometimes its best not to run it through the entire song. i like the breakdown bit and i expect that would be great to see live
good track
