Anyone else listen to them? I've only just started, but for a three-piece band they have such a powerful, unique and versatile sounds in rock and also they're awesome musicians in their own rights - Geddy Lee (bass/vocals/keyboards), Neil Peart (drums) and Alex Lifeson (guitars).

I love Rush!
I used to listen to there 2112 album alot, truly a brilliant album I think I'll have to dig it out later.
Shame I missed them in London back in October (I think?) would have been awesome seeing such a legendary band.

I know, I'm gutted I missed them when they were touring
- would have loved to see them live.
Neil Peart's drumkit: all of the hardware is 24-carat gold-plated, the roadies have to put the thing together with gloves on-stage. You can have one built as well, but it costs £25k.

Each to their own, but I would say Rush is completely the opposite of boring, when you combine Geddy's active bass riffs with the keyboard backing, Lifeson's guitar-work and Peart's drumming.

I would say get the three-disc live Rush In Rio album, I got it from a friend and it's bloody amazing.

Your right - great guys with talent for 100 bands, Neil Peart is sicko... - but I never got into them. Not back in the late 80`s and not today. Just a matter of taste, not more. Peart is one of the best for drum-clinics!
And if you're not a metal head then you might as well be dead...

Being a massive Dream Theater fan, I had to check these guys out. I got Moving Pictures on vinyl, and it's a brilliant album. I always mean to look into them more, but never do.

I've got twelve of them. Twice.

Not enough 7 year old girl factor?
