for anyone interested, my black thrash project Craven Idol now has an online presence in the form of the hideous Myspace, where you can listen to the three tracks from the first demo:

Yay, we're internet whores now!

The actual name reminds me too much of American Idol, but it's an awesome logo. I'm downloading the tracks on a 56k modem, so I'll post up my opinion afterwards. I do love Blackened Thrash.

Only 50 tapes were made, and these have all been sent to zines and labels/distros. We did not intend this for a general public release, but rather a taster to get our ideas recorded, before we do another session along with new material later in the year.

We are currently working on a full line-up, but it will be a fair bit in the future before live appearances become a reality.

More importantly, do YOU have a tape player? Hehe :)

What the hell did you do to the vocals? In terms of the song, I don't like the vocals, but on their own it's a very interesting sound you got there. The music behind them is pretty good though :)
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

When I first saw your logo I was like thats fucking awesome! but now, even though both bands are great, each time I look at it I see 'Raven' and 'Dio'
