I don't particularly remember John Major, but I do remember bomber jackets being commonplace in the school playground, as well as "Bull Boys shoes is what you need, get the power, on your feet!"

I owned neither.

Alan Hanson promoted Bull Boys did he not?

I remember John Major well. I was more into Politics when I was nine than I was when I was doing a degree in it, though. Mind you, my memory of the era is better than my memory of five years ago: I even remember the plane crash in Emmerdale.
