It's not the fact that they may or may not (probably may not, as you said) be supporting them, it's the fact that they're playing the same festival, and they're listed underneath those bands as 'special guests'. It's like these organisers have no idea who Priest actually are. It's bloody bullshit. And they shouldn't even be playing underneath Kiss. They might argue 'it doesn't matter who's headlining', but it means Priest won't be able to give their home country their full set. This is why I shall definitely have to see them headlining somewhere in Europe. This country is shit and has no respect for it's musical history!

dont worry jon, much as they should be headlining dono there's bugger all we can do about it now but on the bright side, priest will be doing a full tour at the end of the year with 2 totally different shows - one for nostradamus and a greatest hits set - going see em twice on their blighty tour is one way to go.

I agree that the Priest should be headlining the Friday night..no way should a band of Priest status be supporting some corporate merchandise machine.

I don't see why it needs to turn into a Kiss bashing session - not least because it's too easy! Do you really think Kiss care that everyone knows they're a marketting machine? Who cares, it's about a bit of good fun music - it's not Kiss's fault that Priest aren't headlining, so why waste time on the e-bitterness towards Simmons and co?

I'd bloody love it. But I'd shout at them for being so rubbish with their albums recently. Well, I say recently, I mean for the last 8 years or so.

ADDITIONAL EDIT - I was at that Napalm gig, legendary night. My wife wandered off & was so hammered she got barred from the Aftershock tent for 24 hours.
