Apologies for another thread, but Harris has just said "the old thread is like 15 pages of poo. we could talk about geting there and tings" - And getting there sounds like a good idea, as we haven't sorted much out yet.

Place: The Granary Cottage/Birchtree Lodge
Date: Friday 10th July - Monday 13th July
Confirmed so far: Me, Bill and Ben, Spam, Parris, Square, Waartin, Boove and...Paul.
Cost: £600 (so at the moment that's £67 each)

There's space for three more people. I'm taking £30 desposits on Paypal if you're interested.

I believe me, Paul and Martin are getting a plane down but how close we can get to Ilfracombe I don't know. I don't even know if a train station runs in there. We might have to taxi it?

Get to bristol airport.

I have a suggestion:

Get the bus to weston (my town) from bristol airport (takes about 40 mins tops)

meet me in weston, get on the train with me.

Either that or get the bus into bristol temple meads train station and get on the train... not sure what the time difference is between the airport and weston or bristol... the airport is quite far from actual Bristol centre though, check it on google maps if ya don't believe me :P

The closest train station to Ilfracombe is Barnstaple (train takes 2:40 from mine to Barnstaple)

and the actual place is wayyyy nearer Combe Martin than Ilfracombe (pretty much right next to it).

There is a First bus service from Barnstaple to Ilfracombe (service 3/4) and then there's an hourly bus from Ilfracombe to Combe Martin (service 30)

is that cool?

Nearest station I believe is Barnstaple (11.4 miles).

Maybe a taxi from there? Nearest place to fly to, Exeter.

you guys will have to look at flights but it's either gonna be Exeter or Bristol, but I'm not sure what flights to Exeter are gonna be like... don't know it that well :P

and btw - the bus from Bristol airport is the First service 121... takes 45 mins to Bristol from there or an hour to Weston-super-Mare train station :)

The fact he has Lev as his contact name is usually a giveaway.

I'm going to be flying into newquay and train down to exetart then from there i'm not actually sure.

I might if poss go a day early and head to yours perhaps Harris? Would that be all lovely and nice?
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Bill, that seems a rather ridiculous way of getting there!!!!!

or do you get cheap flights or something?

of course you could head to mine (it would be lovely), there's space to crash, but it's quite (pretty damn) far from newquay!!!

would megabus not be easier for all you south-easters? london to bristol then train (or bus down to weston if you're coming to mine first) to barnstaple

the train from bristol to barnstaple involves changing at exeter :)
