Do you have any idea how much fitter a rugby player has to be than a football player? Football is a game that any chump can play. Rugby players, on the other hand, have to be fitter and more muscular so that they don't get injured all the time. At the end of the day, it's easier to kick a round ball around whilst never having to sprint at full pace or have to tackle a 21 stone prop forward than it is to play rugby. Have you ever been dump tackled? Rugby players get it all the time but they have to be hard enough to get up and play on. I'd like to see Ronaldo getting up with a slide tackle, let alone a dump or spear tackle...

And rugby players don't get anything near like what football players do. Your average rugby player will probably earn less than a grand a week to play a sport that requires far greater training and discipline to play at a professional level than does football.
