I saw them in May 86 at the Hammersmith Palais with Onslaught supporting...crowd was full of thrashers and skinheads moshing uncontrollably...great night, funny as apart from Fistful I never really liked their albums, and Joey Belladonna was CRAP!

This is good news IMO, Anthrax may have been a better band originally when Joey was the vocalist but the reunion was a piece of cynical money-making crap that the band should have been ashamed of. When WCFYA came out they were harping on about how the band had one of the best vibes for years and then suddenly they've fucked over John Bush and Rob Cagianno to may a few $$$, forgetting how they'd evolved in an attempt to jump on the thrash reunion bandwagon. I think Dan Spitz even admitted it was only about money?
Their career is even more shafted than it was before due to their own greed. One of my favourite bands of all time but I can't see them coming back from this, perhaps thats for the best.

Couldnt agree more!!! Fistful is still by far the best anthrax album. Songs like panic, deathrider and subjugator are thrash classics (lets just not mention i'm 18 tho eh??). STD and ATL are both good albums, but fistful is just the better of them for me.
As for Joey Bell-end-donna , ive saw him with anthrax at least 5 times in the 80s and he always used to piss me off prancing round with that fucking stupid headress on looking like a reet nob!! Saw em a few years back with Bush and they were awesome. He is a much better singer and frontman!!!
