Ah, I guess not.
That album cover looks pretty, well, grim.
I'm in need of some help...

Make sure you check out Vio-lence, Sabbat and Nuclear Assault. I'm sure they've ll been mentioned. Eternal Nightmare is the most important. You should really get to know the german big 3 as well (Kreator, Sodom and Destruction).

After you check out classics you can also try with these albums:
Angel Dust – Into The Dark Past
Assorted Heap – Experience Of Horror / Mindwaves
Blessed Death – Kill Or Be Killed/ Destined For Extinction
Bloodfeast – Kill For Pleasure
Demolition Hammer – Epidemic Of Violence
Deathrow – Raging Steel
Fastkill – Infernal Thrashing Holocaust
Hypnosia – Extreme Hatred
Iron Angel – Hellish Crossfire
Stone – No Anaesthesia!
Viking – Do Or Die
Vendetta – Brain Damage
Violent Force – Malevolent Assault Of Tomorrow
From tech-thrash I strongly recommended Coroner and Sadus.
The main rule is: in the most cases first two or three albums are the best.
