i love the way that up to 80 years ago, anyone with lots of power could just change stuff because they wanted to!!!!

if the queen tried to change christmas now, there would probably be all sorts of riots and stuff haha and if some company tried changing the colour of santa, they'd just get laughed at!!!

I see what point what you were trying to make, but the fact that the Queen hardly has any power anyway makes your point irrelevant, unfortunately. If you said the prime minister for example, you would be nearly correct. There would be outrage. But no one would listen and it would happen anyway.

I don't reckon they'd bother with changing anything like public/religious holidays anymore though, the world is such a different place.. which is kinda what i was trying to say....

one thing i don't think some of you guys realise is that i actually can't really be bothered with explaining myself fully on the internet... also im rpetty shit at explaining stuff, so it takes a lot of thought to actually bother... also it usually just ends up,looking like a load of random sentances strung together... yeahhhhh
