agreed.

Check out http://www.machinaesupremacy.com/ , a a band who have done some video game soundtracks and covers.

I was thinking about mentioning them. Most of their stuff is original, pretty damn good music they do. Check out Winterstorm from the downloads page

Redeemer is definately worth checking out if you've not heard it already, took me a few listens to really get them but it's a good album.

time to shamelessly plug the interview I did with them last year  http://www.metalteamuk.net/machinaeinterview.htm

Megadriver are cool. It's good that you can download all of their songs for free too.

Also, that Sonic guitar may just be the coolest thing I've ever seen!

after first hearing these at the age of 5/6 in various arcades,i still love these tunes to this day(at 24yrs old)and regularly listen to them on my mp3 player when gving my ears a rest from metal, relax in garden etc.

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... D=89557196

they are such great well structured, melodic, feel good, magical tunes!

also the music from golden axe 2 is damn cool but OUTRUN is the greatest game music ever.
