Have a look at this! http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbe ... emID=65743
I wish something so great and unbelievable would happen in this country. Instead we get Iron Maiden supported by Trivium. When really everybody bloody knows Maiden should just get over themselves and do a co-headlining tour with Priest. Actually Priest were quite good doing shows with the Scorpions, but Megadeth/Down/Heaven and Hell is a combination so unbelievable I just can't believe it. Goodness me!
Could anyone imagine such a wonderful thing!

Not familar with Heaven and Hell but the band lineup looks impressive and if megadeth is supporting them then they must be pretty big. Megadeth I wuld imagine would be great live even if the are not what they used to be. Down I remember liking but nothing spectacular for me.

Heaven and Hell is basically Dio era Black Sabbath. They couldnt call themselves Black Sabbath because they didnt want to confuse it with the Ozzy / Ward line up which is apparently still gonna do some gigs. I reckon they'll be much better though since Vinnie Appice is probably in a better state of health than Bill Ward (even though ward rules forever) and ozzy can barely sing any more and we all know dio can still belt it out.

I hate Dio's style of singing though. Anyway seeing iommi and geezer play as well as Megadeth and Down would rule!

I love a bit of Dio, like to blast classics like Rainbow in the Dark quite regularly!
I'm serious.
As for this tour, I personally don't think Megadeth is a good choice of support for Sabbath at all - they're an alright band... ok live... but I wouldn't want to go to a gig and be warmed up for Sabbath by Megadeth, doesn't seem right.

Indeed, Down would definitely be a better Sabbath support than Megadeth, they're a lot more obviously influenced by them. But even if the styles don't really fit, seeing Megadeth (even if they have been making shit albums for the last... well, quite a few years actually... well, apparently they're still amazing live, I haven't seen them yet), on the same night as Down (who I saw last year and were so fucking metal it was just bloody brilliant) and Heaven and Hell would be absolutely blinding. The Ozzy-era Sabbath will always be the greatest thing, but these days, Dio is still a lord of metal wonders, and I'd love so bloody much to see them, I really can't wait. I saw him live with his band at the Astoria (the one that was filmed for his last DVD), and it was brilliant, so unbelievably cheesy, but brilliant.
