Power Metal was actually pretty good by their standards. Mind you, the Great Southern Trendkill is probably the worst album ever made...

Down were fucking legendary last night. Our mates saw a very pissed Kirk being led ouf of the 'Kro-Bar' pub before the gig. Very apt!

The Great Southern Trendkill is the best Pantera album. Phil was off his face for that one too. He was so off his face that he let Seth Putnam from Anal Cunt do backing vocals on a few of the tracks.

Down's first two albums kick arse. But I wouldn't expect Metal Iain to think so as he doesn't like riffs from heavy metal bands, only from Hair and Pop Metal acts. Down III was lacking unfortunately.
SJR are shite though. Good ideas in places but far too much crap.

Excuse me, cock-fag, but I wouldn't exactly class what The Great Southern Trendkill has as 'riffs'. A riff is something you should be able to hum in the shower before going out for a night on the tiles. An example of this would be Feel Like Makin' Love by Bad Company. What you get with The Great Southern Trendkill, on the other hand, when hummed makes you sound like someone with Tourette's syndrome trying to suppress a tic.
