*FACT!

One of my favourite stories from Woolworths (sorry if I've already told this one) goes like this:

I was working the entertainment counter one Christmas eve. I forget which year it was, but I'm pretty sure it was the year the first Xbox was released. If not it was the year after because they were still pretty hot shit. About 4pm, I come to my four-million-six-hundred-and-thiry-four-thousand-one-hundred-and-seventh customer (yes, I did count), a chap who looked like he was in his late thirtys, maybe early fourties. He comes to the counter and asks "Do you have any Xboxes left?". We sold out about five hours prior, so I let him know this (politley of course), to which he responded "Well, what am I supposed to do then?"

I DON'T FUCKING KNOW! WHY DON'T YOU START BY LOVING YOUR SON ENOUGH TO GET THIS SHIT DONE EARLIER?!"

Of course, I didn't actually say this, but I would have loved to. Instead I redirected him to HMV in Oxford, happily knowing that he'd probably not get there in time, and even if they did, they'd probably be sold out anyway.
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

Someone once said I looked like I should be in a boy band. What the hell? They were very drunk.

I am pretty stupid. I rememer I was in geography when I was 13 or 14 and we were doing something about Mexico. My only input was, "what does a petrol station have to do with geography?"
Also when going around Uni and joining the societies I signed up to the RockSoc. After finishing the technical stuff I asked the member, mainly to make small talk while my friend sorted himself out, "What does SOC stand for?"

I'm sure I've done others but they stick in my head.
"And what about the churches and all their wealth
There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

That is literally the worst thing in the world. There are many things I hate, but that is one of the most ridiculous things of all. I remember working at that stupid Toyworld Megagay place in Leeds in the stock room, and we put some Hendrix on, and a stupid girl said "Why do listen to this it's so old?" I wanted to punch her.

She wanted you to punch her too. Statements like that are just a cry for help from the energetic young rockers trapped inside these fucking morons.

People are just stupid. I mean really. How can you write something off because it's old? I think it was in a best band ever thread. After I listed some bands someone replied with I can't believe you listen to those old bands. Imagine them all with their walking sticks or something along those lines...

Ha!... found it. Here it is with my reply.

carrie wrote:
why do people on here listen to music that is REALLY OLD! Like Led zep???????????????????????????????

Led zep and Iron Maiden with their wlaking sticks!

Quite possibly the stupidest comment I've ever read.

Why do people listen to ANY music? Surely because it is good music? The age of it takes nothing away from it. Were it not for Led Zep, Maiden etc, music as you know it today might very well be quite different.

And FYI, Iron maiden are still going strong. In fact their recently anounced dates in Europe sold out very quickly. How quickly? 50,000 in 30 min. If you had ever seen Iron Maiden live, you might just realise how very wrong you are about your walking sticks comment.

And I am fairly sure, there were it not for the death of their drummer in 1980 (RIP John Bonham), Led Zep could still be going. The remaining members are in fact still recording solo material.

So do you only listen to current music? Because if you do, let me tell you, you are missing out on a hell of a lot! In fact I almost pitty you for having such a closed mind.

lol... that took ages. It was 2 and a half years ago!

People used to always come up to me in HMV's and ask me where stuff was because they assumed I was an employee. I wasn't even wearing a HMV shirt. IDIOTS.

It's because you've got that 'happy to help' face.

That was a good reply Stu to that stupid idiot. What was her response to that? (If you can be arsed to find it again)

It was just something saying that I was personally attacking her(?!) and that she pitied me for being so judgemental!
