It's a fair point, it was just hilariously worded.

It was a fair point, but it wasn't a very fair point.

An album filled with good songs is a good album. It may not be a brilliant, cohesive album experience but it's still a good album. Par example, Among the Living - each songs great, therefore it is great. Good albums may be hit and miss or might work better as a whole, true. This is just a different type of good album. In this case, maybe Sad Wings of Destiny is a good representation as Dreamer Deceiver and Deceiver work better together and it could do without Prelude and Epitaph. Still a fucking great album. Some combine the two: Reign in Blood are great songs that collectively fit perfectly.

Simply put, "lots of good songs put together doesn't make a good album" is bollocks. Although I do accept that there is too much of a good thing and so MCDs can be a good move. However, over 25 minutes I don't think it should be a problem. If it is, then it is not a good album.

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

All I meant was I like to hear a bit of variation and it's nice when you hear something and you know that thought has been put into the song writing (and the arrangement of the album too!), which is what disappointed me so much about Merciless Death, which is the point I was trying to make!! It is fast, it's intense, it's very thrash, but they could have at least played a different sounding riff every now and again :P

BIMM is the gayest thing in the world tbh. it totally rapes creative freedom and teaches people how to make money with music.
