Re: R.P.G's(the games not missiles)
I enjoyed Lost Kingdoms and Skies of Arcadia on the GC. Not as good as FFVII, but then what is?
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

Re: R.P.G's(the games not missiles)
over the weekend i ordered these beautiful import gems for the ps1:
chrono cross,by squaresoft:sequel to chrono trigger on snes.very much in the style of final fantasy 7
legend of mana,by squaresoft:sequel to secret of mana on snes.very cartoony and action is like zelda rather than turn based
intro
in game
saga frontier 1,by squaresoft:i already have the unrelated(storywise)sequal which was released in the uk and im currently playing through that.
star ocean the second story,by enix:this is the sequal to the jap star ocean on snes.this has random battles but action is direct rather than selecting from lists.also enix made this game.enix were rivals to squaresoft before both companies joined forces to form square-enix.
watch with annoying commentary turned right down.(this was the only clip i could find with a decent/varied mix of exploration, battles, characters interacting etc.)

Chrono Trigger is the only japanese RPG i really got into, i don't mind Final Fantasys but i tend to get bored with them.
Fallout 1 and 2 are amazing RPGs, im reserving judgement on three ( Oh please god make it good!!!)
Neverwinter Nights is great and very customisable and Vampire Masquerade was good, an awesome story easy combat (point and click but based off stats) but again there was alot of modding which really added to the game

Morrowind was far better than Oblivion.

Yes, by far Oblivion was stupidly restricted in comparison.

Re: R.P.G's(the games not missiles)
Every area looked the same in Oblivion...trees, trees and more trees (apart from the fire place). Morrowind had swamps, tundras, volcanic areas and it just felt bigger, mainly as you couldn't do the fast travel and map that just killed off a lot of the exploring. Plus Morrowind had more quests, factions and better modding etc etc....better graphics doesn't mean better game
