There are no heroes anymore

What a shame.

Me and boys were talking about this tonight. We were discussing the fact that a revolution needs to happen soon in this country. But what will shake people out of apathy? After all sorts of discussion we came to the realisation that there aren't any heroes anymore. No icons, no people who stand out from everyone else to give us something to believe in. No Bill Hicks, no John Lennon, no Bruce Lee, no Martin Luther King, no fucking anyone. All that exists is mediocrity. People won't think for themselves, and there is no one to lead us out from the darkness. Basically, we're all fucked.
